C’est pas parce que tu t’arrêtes de pédaler que ton vélo va s’arrêter

Forsiti’A

15 numbers, 21 voices: catchy, recognisable, positive and Brussels.

15 numbers performed by 21 voices each with a different background and brought together by a shared passion for the stage. You do not always know whether to take it seriously or to laugh at what they sing, but it is never a ‘tearjerker’ or tiresome.

C’est pas parce que tu t’arrêtes de pédaler que va ton vélo s’arrêter is a performance by the social and artistic theatre company Forsiti’A. It’s about survival in the city, about what is referred to as the margin. And about the fact that you are not alone. That if you no longer have enough strength in your legs to pedal, someone else will surely give your bike a push. It’s about pride and happiness. About how rich you are even though by current standards you have almost nothing. A theatre of dreamers.

The performance is in French and Dutch.
