Het Theaterfestival 2010 in Antwerpen

Elk jaar inviteert Het Theaterfestival drie nieuwe juryleden. Dit jaar bestond de Vlaamse jury uit Manja Topper (actrice Dood Paard), Bernard Van Eeghem (theatermaker) en Karel Vanhaesebrouck (journalist rekto:verso, docent).

Van 1 mei 2009 tot 30 april 2010 zagen zij 465 voorstellingen uit Vlaanderen en Nederland en samen zo'n 253 premières. Ze keken ruim: van jeugdtheater tot danstheater, van theatrale interventies tot installaties, van muziektheater tot teksttheater. Nadien maakten ze een stand van zaken op, de Keuze 2010. Een scherp gekozen lijst die een synthese vormt van een seizoen.

De jury van het Nederlands Theater Festival (Amsterdam) maakte ook een keuze en beide festivals wisselen uit. Het Nederlandse festival brengt dit jaar vier voorstellingen uit de Keuze van Het Theaterfestival in Amsterdam. De jury van Het Theaterfestival koos drie projecten uit de lijst van de jury van het Nederlands Theater Festival. Deze uitwisseling wordt ondersteund door het Vlaams Nederlands huis deBuren en de Brakke Grond.

Het Theaterfestival vindt afwisselend in Antwerpen (deSingel, Monty, Toneelhuis) en in Brussel (Kaaitheater) plaats. Dit jaar is Antwerpen aan de beurt.

Chaque année, le Theaterfestival invite un nouveau jury. Ils ont vu non moins de 465 spectacles en Flandre et aux Pays-Bas, allant du théàtre jeune public au théàre dansé, du mime aux installations théàtrales, du théàtre musical au théàtre textuel. Ensuite, ils ont établi un état des lieux, le Choix 2010 avec onze projets. Le jury du Nederlands Theater Festival (Amsterdam) a également opéré une sélection et les deux festivals effectuent des éanges: le festival néerlandais présente trois spectacles à Amsterdam et vice versa. En collaboration avec Vlaams Nederlands huis deBuren et Brakke Grond.

Each year The Theaterfestival invites a new jury. They saw no less than 465 performances in Flanders and the Netherlands. From childrenís theatre to dance theatre, from mime to theatrical installations, from musical theatre to text theatre. They then summarised the current situation in the Choice 2010 with eleven projects. The jury of the Nederlands Theater Festival in Amsterdam also made a selection and the two festivals then swap productions, in association with Vlaams Nederlands huis deBuren and Brakke Grond. The Dutch festival will be presenting three performances in Amsterdam and vice versa.

Verder worden ook drie voorstellingen uit de selectie van het Nederlands Theater Festival in Amsterdam (het zusterfestival van Het Theaterfestival Vlaanderen) getoond.
